Acacia covenyi is a mimosa species of the family Fabaceae according to the phylogenetic classification. He is from southeastern New South Wales, Australia.
It is a shrub 1.5 to 7.5 meters tall with smooth greyish bark; the leaves (phyllodes) are blue, three centimeters long and one wide; the flowers appear in August-September and are yellow.
It is a decorative shrub by the color of its leaves, supporting drought and fast growing.
